Just another WordPress site
clinging to culpability
is depriving ourselves
of grace
while recognising our fault
an opening towards
mercy
reaching the turning point
where escape is no longer
an option
where running from fear
is no longer ruling
neither mind
nor body
where submission to old wounds
is no longer compulsory
where love is flowing free
like a river
and every act
an act of prayer
letting go
of old pain
can feel so painful
that one would rather
hold on to it
while underneath the release
forgiveness is waiting
with wide open arms
to receive life
in a soft and tender embrace
when a destructive kind of
continuity
is broken
time has come
to mend
what was never disrupted
only overshadowed by
a destructive kind of
continuity
wholeness
in a shield of light
closing around
a fractured life
a subtle smile
a change of look in the eye
while a different kind of solitude
arrive
a solitude of peace
and solemn delight
soft silence
under a steady falling rain
soundless thoughts
slowly summarised
into pearls of wisdom
honesty
is a matter
to be handled
with both mercy
and forgiveness
though
while handled in that manner
it might cut into hidden wounds
with surgical precision
of endless care
anxious full moon
holding dear
every detail
of a silver night
to be treasured
in every detail
as a wide open gate
of insight
a shadow of sadness
on a glorious morning
only to emphasise the span
of glory itself
