Just another WordPress site
wanting to convince
someone
about
being loved
might be a different kind of
pride
a source of suffering
rather than
a healing remedy
being mistaken
is not the end of the world
not being able to admit it
is
being excluded
and condemned
as bad
for believing in the good
is nothing new
perhaps to be received
as a question
if
we truly believe
leaning into peace
in a world
of injustices
can sometimes feel
counterproductive
though
it does not necessarily mean
this is what
it is
not to tell more
than
what a person can bear
to hear
can be considered as
care
representing everything
a person dread
can implicate
never truly being seen
for who we are
not being seen for who we truly are
might not be an explicit murder
though a soft killing
it can be
moving towards
eternity
feeling so
tenderly loved
so utmost vulnerable
and frail
all too aware
of all the wrongs
we have done
and yet so full of hope
for what is
to come
a sudden
unexpected opening
of all the locks
letting in
heaps of darkness
carrying
the boat of mercy
facing the dark
might be
what allow us
to shine in mercy
a nagging pain
just as undetectable as
omnipresent
running under the skin
resting over the mind
calling for care with a sound
covering everything
though not to be heard
a nagging pain
finally finding
repose
having a place
where forgiveness is
granted
when asked for
may sound obvious and trite
though
what a rejuvenating relief
