Just another WordPress site
an almost endless
falling rain
flooding the midsummer days
in humidity and grey
leaving the world
more green
than ever
opening into
secret pleasures
coming back to life
after years of absence
can be slightly
overwhelming
a ray of sunlight
in between the grey
illuminating the green
and warming the bones
when grace is knocking on the door
all we are asked to do
is to lean back
and receive
being told
that ones emotions are
illegitimate
is certainly not the shortest way
to peace
but it might illuminate
the origin of
certain behaviours
which in so many ways
were difficult to fathom
how to embrace
a difficult day ahead
is a question worth asking
and slightly less obvious to answer
one possible answer could be
a question of
direction
with a deeper consciousness about
what we aim for
it will not make the day
less difficult
nor will it make the difficulties
disappear
but they will no longer deprive the day
of its purpose
coming home
after days of absence
is the more delicious
when home is where
we wish to be
heaps of sadness
manifesting in all sorts of ways
overflowing
where it is not supposed to
blocking where it is supposed
to flow
while the tide of the full moon
is having its own feast
playing with water
in all sorts of ways
being no one
in a world of someones
can sometimes be
a lonely experience
being someone
in a world of no ones
just the same
light has shifted
the days are turning towards darkness again
and what was
is
no more
gentle soft summer rain
soothing sore scars
just below the surface
satisfying the thirst
of each cell
spreading peace to even the most remote corner
of memory
