what is left seems to be
a humble heart

finding peace
to stay long
in a specific posture
can only happen when
the body is softened
from deep inside
disgrace
to discover that
we were never meant for
anything else

being present in
the present moment
might not be very flattering
when the present moment
is of disgrace
though can on the other hand
be considered a relief
other than
how to describe
the sensation
of a lifelong dependence
falling apart
other than by the mere observation
that
this is what happens
and what a redemption
balance out
when giving up
on oneself
has become a habit
so natural
it no longer seems possible
to do
anything else
it can be difficult
to believe
in any sort of promise
though nature never gives up
and will always search for
a natural way
to balance out
the imbalance
and so will life
dwelling
being considered
out of one’s mind
might be considered
a compliment
when being
out of one’s mind
means
dwelling in peace
all life long
finding the part in ourselves
we can trust
after the one we had trusted
all life long
turned out to be wrong
can be a bit of a puzzle
stupid
when the sensation of being
permanently misunderstood
turns into the experience of oneself
as plainly stupid
a dead end has been reached
a barrier broken down
when the conviction of
being reliable
turns into a pitfall of
unreliability
trust can be placed
where trust is returned by
faith
wondrous
how wondrous
when
what seemed impossible
suddenly becomes
obvious
when what was considered treachery
suddenly becomes
the covenant of faithfulness
but natural
when time has come
to go
separate ways
a certain sadness
is but natural
perhaps even grief
for all the crumbled
dreams
