silent celebration

of suddenly knowing

there is nothing to do

soft summer rain

washing away the dust

bringing to the surface

unexpected wells

of sadness

silently surrendering

to founts of joy

overcoming

the insurmountable unease

of a flickering mind

no matter how

banal

it can appear

is a just as subtle

as profound

healing

when a call for inner silence

is up against

expectations beyond the possible

the subtle balance

where harmony can reign

is to be carefully

obeyed

drifting solitude

disguised

in consumption

while all there was ever needed

is love

quietude

opening

inward

crossing the bridge

for the material

to merge with

the spiritual

is as natural

as it can appear to be
