is inevitable

on the way

to salvation

handling it with care

and compassion

a way not to miss

the purpose

of mercy

while learning to receive

the spirit

sometimes

taking one single step

at a time

can involve

all the boldness

we are given

as while it seems

insignificant

it might be

a change of a habit

so deep

it seemed impossible to

uproot

steady rain

while stepping into

the unknown

confident

it is the way

to reach

home

without euphoria

nor despair

just one single step

at a time

under the rain

being given

for the first time

in life

to make

an important decision

without being in

affect

by a state of survival

without being in control

but leaning into trust

is a peace beyond

what words can

describe

getting to know

the other side of the story

might not bring us

closer to truth

though

it broadens the perspective

in order to let

truth unfold

allowing truth

to be accomplished

does not necessarily mean

having what we wanted

just as

having what we wanted

does not necessarily mean

we were right

and what is admired

as

the perfect tale of survival

might not be

admirable

in the fields of

salvation

a sudden insecurity

a shiver of doubt

nothing dramatic

just a slight movement

on the water’s surface

while the morning sun

illuminates

the world

being noticed

without any wish to understand

rather

observed

as an inner state

to be taken

into account

silver grey

and subtle skies

inviting

a whole different approach

to discipline

where the discipline is

not to push

anything

through

which is not mature

stepping into silence

experiencing quietude

where fear only rules

to be pushed further away

by every step

we take

where expectations are

only there

to nourish the trust

how

all shall be well

being loyal

is a natural behaviour

running in the blood

though when

we are being loyal to something

going against our nature

just because

this is how

we were brought up

the spine of our being in this world

degenerate

while we believe ourselves

to be good

where

being good implies

being faithful to

what we believe to be

true
