one can do

lean back and receive

encountering the unknown

with inner calm

not out of eager

to explore

nor in escape of what is

without fear

nor euphoria

just in

another step

of the way

leaving behind

the world

of sorrow

and sadness

can be

the most frightening

passage

to cross

becoming

who we are

after having spent

our lives

trying to be something

and someone

we are not

can be a destabilising

relief

a strange sensation of

disappearance

lying quietly

listening

to the breath

of a loved one

can be

the most healing remedy

for a sore heart

becoming able to discern

what belong to ourselves

and what belong

to the wind

might be another step

towards

freedom

when the fear of

what is to become

af us

is overshadowing the joy of

what we are given

an abyss of greed

opens in the heart

when an offence

is being received

as care

the heart is

lost

and what we are given

forgotten

not to be seen

even less acknowledged

for what we do

rather

criticised

for being

how we are

is wearing

learning to perceive

the approval

where it is

to be found

salutary

when duty is no longer bound

to the structure

rather

to the light the structure is there

to contain

freedom can be

obtained

adding structure

to an already structured

mind

might be

like pulling on a knot

in order to

untie it
