braving

braving the valley of tears

can take years

of endless crying

yet the subtle art of healing

runs underneath

in a peaceful river

cleansing what seemed

incurable

cicatrising what had been left

as open wounds

unsolvable

sleep as a profound blessing

healing invisible wounds

of invisible insults

bringing peace

and a certain kind of clarity

to what seemed unsolvable

for one more step

to be taken

logic

acknowledging our failures

might set us free

to be

who we truly are

beyond every logic

and calculation

nourishing

steady falling rain

inside

as well as outside

nourishing what had been left dry

for so long

to let purpose

grow

staying

reaching the core

and staying there

is like falling in love

and staying

in love

very

reaching the end

of a belief

can very much feel like

reaching the end

yet

it might also be

the beginning of

truth

conquest

when insufficiency

pervades the mind

it might be

that pride

is trying to conquer

the seat of wisdom

to which

there is no better reply

than being humble

pervading

and then silently

after years of ceaseless fighting

peace pervades

like the smiling face of a loving mother

bending down

to take up her disastrous child

intense

being intense

is not necessarily

a choice

though something which can

be regulated

in order to intensify

what can bear it

and leave superficial

what was never meant to be

anything else
