unavoidable
in order to reach
love
though
one can very well
stay
in desire
without ever tasting
love
as one can
live in love
without ever tasting
desire
as love is to be found where
desire is the fuel
to reach it
not the goal
to achieve
in itself
no longer having
to step out of
the cathedral of the soul
in order to meet
the world
does not mean
that the world cannot enter
the edifice
and receive
what is
so generously given
and then
suddenly
the threshold
which seemed
insurmountable
impenetrable
impossible to cross
is behind
and one abides
irrevocably
in the cathedral
of the soul
indifferent to
the amount of care
by which
the blind spot of our perspective
is approached
shame can erupt
and manifest in the body
while the memory is being healed
till love is all
there remains
approaching
the blind spot
of our perspective
is just as explosive
as it is delicate
just as demanding
as it is liberating
just as obvious
as it is subtle
to be handled
with care
being faithful to someone
incapable of
returning the gesture
is an ungrateful position
to be in
as long
as it prevents
from being faithful to
the everlasting
faithfulness
no longer to be
afraid
is a subtle freedom
often overwhelming
in all its simplicity
all the more
when one has been
afraid of
almost
everything
in awe
of being granted
to stay
with the present
every step
on the way
healing
inherited shame
can
leave behind
a sensation of
elation
so intense
it can be overwhelming
when asking for help
has become impossible
since
asking for help
meant
receiving what had not been
asked for
and
being blamed
for not being grateful
an invisible obstacle
settles
in our being
preventing life from flowing
freely
