rain

steady falling rain

after a day with sun

and blue sky

after a moment of relief

from grey humidity

diving back into the depths

from where light is

emerging

cold humidity is hitting the bones

trying to discourage

even the most fervent believer

in the return of the light

building a case is a strategy

an excellent manner to get through

earthly matters

but rather an obstacle

when the aim is

to reach beyond

an early wake up

after days upon days

of sleep

after weeks upon weeks

of dormancy

after a whole long life

of paralysis

is like

a kiss from a mysterious lover

like

being brought back into life

hope is

building its own scaffold

around lives

apparently falling apart

but hope can never manifest

unless it is chosen

even in the midst of darkness

mist

heavy, dense, wonderful, mysterious

mist

veiling the pain and the suffering

veiling the light and the joy

opening inwards

for a personal choice

to be busy

being right

according to ones convictions

is a project in itself

but nothing can be right

without presence

nothing seems to change

the darkness grow darker

the anxiety grows more anxious

reaching out for help

only to receive

further complications

the only change might be

the capability to express

that everything is still

the same

going under

and falling apart

are not the highest estimated

experiences

but they might be of greater value

than most people expect

diving deep into the mystery of sadness

is proportionally expanding

the mystery of joy

not to be mistaken by

satisfaction

reaching the end

of what is humanly possible

is not to be considered

a failure

just and observation of

where the limit is drawn

respecting ones limits

is the beginning of

love

holding back tears

does not mean

that one is not crying
