hanging on to emotions
is a hazardous alliance to settle
answering all sorts of unresolved desires
running beneath the surface
not to mention the wounds
claiming their share of affection
as love is being considered
out of reach
where love might be
all over
being able to forgive
from the heart
is a talent in itself
sometimes troublesome to carry
yet always graceful
to grant
being greeted by the moon
while walking alongside a poetess
who enhance the marvels of the world
by her mere way
of observing
and her talent to pass on
the gratitude she experiences
openness can go
in so many directions
being open
towards the world
is certainly essential
but sometimes
being open towards the world
takes a turn inwards
in order to discern
what we are
to carry into it
clarity after the rain
revealing different weaknesses
. . .
and deeper beauties
when unknown layers of reality
suddenly are being revealed
new areas of freedom
opens in the mind
soft silent
simple rain
healing old wounds
while nourishing what is
to come
a farewell to certain
a birthday
for some
staying silent long enough
to hear the soundless
can be a real challenge
the reward being priceless
does not make any of it
more accessible
yet
worth the trouble
finding home
after a lifetime
in exile
is a mystical experience
in its own way
a long

sunrise
accompanying
a long

morning
of what could be
a beautiful
late summer day
