remains

morning mists

after a night

of thunder

and rain

only to reveal

that some hidden glory

always remain

burning

burning out

is not a choice

but a simple consequence

of inappropriate choices

of overhearing what is already burning

in order to lit

what is quenched

only to find a body

covered

by burns

in an open wound

only time

can heal

outcome

perhaps

one single word

can change the outcome

at least

one single word

can change the perception of

what is not visible

to the bare

eye

glorious sunshine

or not

unnoticeable

a soft sunrise

perfectly worthy of

a new moon

marking an in many ways

otherwise completely unnoticeable

shift

from one dimension

to another

at some point

losing memory

might be a consequence

of having carried

for too long

more pain

than the brain

could assimilate

spending our lives

avoiding parts of our memory

is a more important effort

than one might consider

and at some point

the body simply

gives in

that point might be

where healing begin

moving on

when time has come

to move on

moving on

is all there is left

to do

celebrating the almost new

moon

bird of prey

golden light

and warm winds

a bird of prey

calling through the dawn

emphasising the otherwise

silent mornings

announcing a glorious day

righteousness

being right

loses every virtue

when used to judge others

yet

there is nothing wrong with

being right

in itself
