clinging

leaving an order of things

behind

can be a challenge for someone

who is clinging

to living

in the past

wrong

a new order of things

does not necessarily mean

the old order was wrong

nor

that it went wrong

only

that it is time

for a new order

of things

sometimes

when the body is sore

it might be worth

listening into it

just as it mostly is

worth

listening into any sort of

pain

sometimes all it need

is care

dead end

reaching the end

of a dead end

can be considered

the end of

everything

though

it can also be considered

the beginning of

now

edifice

living in an edifice of solitude

might sometimes be

essential

though beginning to open the heavy doors

and let others in

is with great subtlety transforming

an edifice of solitude into

an edifice of love

suspicion

beginning to trust

after a life in

suspicion

is not only an unfathomable experience

it is also indescribable

yet very real

fidelity

fidelity might not only be

not to follow our impulses

when drawn to greener pastures

fidelity might also be

the decision to return to the pain

as many times as necessary

for healing to occur
