ephemeral

trying to make

the ephemeral last

is more than anything

weighing down the present

when guilt is being

taken off a pair of shoulders

this habit might end

and a new balance can

be found

situation

change of horizon

opening towards

different memories

changing the perspective upon

one and the same situation

change of horizon

bringing to the surface

insights of peace

trapped

night thunder breaking down heat

while purifying the sky

as the rain nourishes an ever so thirsty soil

there is still a choice between being

trapped in fear

or surrender to love

to a certain extent

to surrender is not necessarily

the same thing

as giving up

yet rather a question of

giving up

on control

control being essential to a certain extent

though beyond that stage

becoming just as chaotic as

chaos itself

visibility

recognising our needs

does not set us free

to claim what is not ours

but it sets us free to observe

this is what

a part of us

does

and instead of being ruled by

an invisible power

offers the opportunity of

visibility and love

recognition

the shift of the moon

being celebrated

by a gentle summer rain

enhancing the smells

of flowering trees

softly caressed by

a silent summer breeze

being unable to recognise

one’s own needs

is a shortcut to

dependence

might

there might be several ways

to deal

with guilt

one being

to sit with it

until it dissolves

as the threads of emotions grow visible

and thereby lose their power

another one being

to ask for forgiveness

and thereby create openings

for love to flood the heart

and these were only two of all the possible ways

whatever way is chosen

might not be essential

the essential being

that one is

burden

being born into the world

feeling guilty of being alive

can be a heavy burden

to drag around

and ever so difficult

to release

needless

being propelled

out of one’s course

for no other reason than

the need of entertainment of others

is as sad

as it is

needless

waste

what a waste

to spend our lives

in fear of our weaknesses

to be revealed

while it is by

standing erect in our frailest weakness

that the sublime power of our being

unfold
