hampering

fear hampering sleep

not as possessive demons

occupying the mind with no mercy

rather as a gentle warning

that some parts of reality

are to be taken ยจ

into account

no matter the degree of challenge

this might involve

reign

golden leaves

covering the soil

carried to the ground by

an unusual mild wind

letting go of

old habits

leaves the structure of the mind

naked

and the body lost

the time for wisdom to emerge

where fear had reigned

core

morning mist

covering the world

to let mysteries penetrate

even if only a little bit deeper

into the core

where being unable

does not necessarily mean

being useless

unload

lightning unloading

the atmosphere of tension

dead leaves dancing

on the road

while the body is striving

to find its balance

within a new centre of

gravity

literal

having spent most of one’s life

trying to make oneself useful

changing into

being useful

can be a painful experience

in the literal sense of the word

overburden

being overburdened

can be considered

a state of mind

as no one is being overburdened

by life

though one might easily come to believe

the responsibility carried to be

compulsory

singing

a single bird is singing

in the darkness

having forgotten

or perhaps unable to see

that autumn has coloured the tress

perhaps celebrating a soul

who is to be

celebrated today

excuse

what a relief

to undo a knot

by a simple excuse

where an excuse was

the least one could do

to bring righteousness

back into a stagnated situation

allowing life to flow freely

where it was never meant to do

anything else

gesture

receiving as a gift

what one believed to be

out of reach

is a gesture to observe

a blessing to be counted
