turning every stone
to see
where is hidden
the responsibility
of what we do
and do not
do
might seem
a waste of time
until we turn
the small pebble
that looked so insignificant
yet
open the gates
to awe

Just another WordPress site
turning every stone
to see
where is hidden
the responsibility
of what we do
and do not
do
might seem
a waste of time
until we turn
the small pebble
that looked so insignificant
yet
open the gates
to awe
staying in the darkness
as long as possible
while bitterness is crushing
the dykes of unborn dreams
build to protect against
the pain
which was already embedded
inside the fortification
unaware how
this would mean
the pain could not
escape
staying in the darkness long enough
for bitterness to crush
the dykes of unborn dreams
finally letting in
the light
daybreak also means
return of the shadows
and there can be times
where one would rather stay
in the dark
than having to face the shadows
apparently overshadowing
all that is bright
yet
allowing the eyes
to get used
to the subtle details
of the intricate drawings
between shadows and light
is a world of wonders
and utmost delight
awakening into emotional chaos
so much more chaotic
that no apparent reason
seems to cause it
is disturbing
allowing the storm
to pass
while keeping calm
might be the best way ahead
yet
thereby it is not said
how this is done
living in permanent panic
is undermining the awareness
in the most subtle manner
changing what could have been
fertile soil
into a minefield
of unpredictable
explosions
becoming aware of
a permanent state of panic
is devastating
until the relief pervade
and trust can take over
where panic reigned
constant kindness
genuine kindness
running
inwards
as well as outwards
embracing the shadows of shame
which have for so long
been weighing down
a consciousness given
rather to bring
light
into the world
going through
every single layer
of pain
in order to heal
what seemed
a banal episode
of homeless words
yet determined
the trajectory
of a whole life
when nothing makes
sense no more
it might be time
to pause for moment
and let
what was so far
invisible
reach the surface
to manifest
when the sense of justice
has been perverted
through abuse of power
peace is to be found
nowhere
though if one can find
the trust
that somewhere
justice prevails
hope might accomplish
what the intelligence cannot
and heal what seemed to be
forever lost
solitude as a human condition
to be accepted
as such
nothing more
nothing less
as the acceptance opens towards
the awareness
of everything
being part
of a whole
and what was perceived as solitude
can transform
into belonging
