banal

to rest

while rest is required

sounds banal

which does not mean

it cannot be

anything but obvious

accessibility

living in a reality

which does not seem to be

accessible to anyone else

can be lived

as either a curse

or

a blessing

once the condition of

living in a reality

which does not seem to be

accessible to anyone else

is accepted

as the outset

unkind

the fear of being condemned as

irresponsible

or unkind

might be

an underlying motivation

for many behaviours

without even the shadow of virtue

written into it

having nothing to do

with neither responsibility

nor kindness

suddenly

when life is too painful

and make sense

no more

a different kind of sense

emerge

to numb the pain

and everything seems suddenly

out of reach

brokenness

approaching the core of

the illusion of kindness

is just as painfully confusing

as the grace of loving light

finally falling into the heart

is healing clarity

for its brokenness

culpability

clinging to culpability

is depriving ourselves

of grace

while recognising our fault

an opening towards

mercy

turning point

reaching the turning point

where escape is no longer

an option

where running from fear

is no longer ruling

neither mind

nor body

where submission to old wounds

is no longer compulsory

where love is flowing free

like a river

and every act

an act of prayer

underneath

letting go

of old pain

can feel so painful

that one would rather

hold on to it

while underneath the release

forgiveness is waiting

with wide open arms

to receive life

in a soft and tender embrace

time has come

when a destructive kind of

continuity

is broken

time has come

to mend

what was never disrupted

only overshadowed by

a destructive kind of

continuity

whole

wholeness

in a shield of light

closing around

a fractured life
