breaking the rules
by taking the laws
into our own hands
cannot be
conjugated
though
forgiven
holding dear
the moment
honouring
the present
leaning into light
handing over
with grace
the responsibility
to the one
who is meant
to carry it
with grace
somewhat lost
in the aftermath of the wind
as the morning sun
is colouring the naked world
in pink
somewhat frail
with the wish to assimilate
every new aspect
of the tale
discovering the missing part
which had been
thoroughly mystified
and systematically ignored
in order to keep
the coherence of
an inconsistent tale
finding the missing part
stumbling upon it
while the search had been suspended
as the wish to understand was replaced
by a turn
towards mercy
approaching the essence
under storm and rain
after generations of
exile
can only be
daunting
even repulsing
until the mind begins to grasp
that mercy is to be found
in the core
of the matter
traveling back
to the source
of an intimate conviction
only to discover that
nothing is
as it was
understood back in time
exploring with the wish to heal
rather than the wish to understand
is in itself
a different appeal
giving in
to the moment
no longer holding up
an illusion of
perfection
where no perfection is
to be found
releasing a whole long life of
anxiety
in one single breath
can be a surprising experience
for the mind
oxygenising every cell in a manner
so far
unknown to the body
staying with the mood
even when the mood is
neither flattering
nor pleasant
not to let it rule
nor to let it spoil
only to give it
the exact amount of attention
for it to dissolve
