in the living rooms

where all the doors

and no window

as the river running past
nourishing the wheel
was dammed further up the stream
and life could no longer prosper
where it used to grow

somewhat unable to let go
of the hope
it might one day
return
feeling sorry might be a way
to give oneself the significance
one believes to lack
sacred space
sacred time
sacred acts
sacral
the mistake is not
to make a mistake
the mistake is
not to recognise it
holding on to
what is not
just because
we want it to be
is also a way to
imprison
ourselves
stars shining bright
on an autumn morning sky
with wind drying the ground
for the last cut before winter
bringing down leaves
preparing for structured nakedness
where the essence is
all which is visible
no glamourous beauty
to seduce the senses
nothing but raw structure
and primal essence
to relate to
awakening into frailty
and clumsiness
might be an appeal for attention
to a part of the being
having been neglected
for one reason
or another
while the rain stops
when something which
was never meant to be
is ruptured
there is nothing left to do
than to let it go
fear hampering sleep
not as possessive demons
occupying the mind with no mercy
rather as a gentle warning
that some parts of reality
are to be taken ยจ
into account
no matter the degree of challenge
this might involve
golden leaves
covering the soil
carried to the ground by
an unusual mild wind
letting go of
old habits
leaves the structure of the mind
naked
and the body lost
the time for wisdom to emerge
where fear had reigned
