one’s

knowing one’s place

is an inevitable consequence of

accepting one’s limits

one’s measure

one’s task

leaving everything beyond this

where it belongs

grandeur

delusions of grandeur

is indeed

the pride which goes

before a fall

and the fall is

by no means

pleasant

but what a relief

effort

reaching the end of desire

where no effort seems to make

sense anymore

might be what can get to the end of resistance

and let the light in

noticeably

to distinguish

the inner call

from basic needs

is an exercise of discernment

probably unending

while taking our basic needs

to be

an inner call

is just as erroneous as

confusing our inner call

to be our basic needs

both are to be tended

but in noticeably different manners

delusion

an intimate

mostly unconscious

conviction about

who we are

with no roots in

truth

is delusional

no matter how sincerely

we believe in it

unspoken

walking through the mist

while practising

staying in the unknown

unsolved

and unspoken

as long as required

for righteousness to surface

want

facing reality

can never be

painful

it is while we want it to be

something else than what it is

that pain settles

bully

being pushed into decisions

by the best of intentions

can also be

a way of

bullying

affection

giving in order to receive

is always an unbalance

also when

the return expected

is only a little bit of

affection
