gold

spinning golden lies

has nothing to do

with being truthful

no matter how

beautiful

they are

all they do

is spinning the heart into a prison

of our own making

manipulation

silent summer wind

whispering away in the top of the trees

telling old stories

in new forms

manipulated by man

into a tool of power

twisted by the limitations

of the sort of knowledge

that makes us believe

we know

stranger

full moon

behind grey clouds

strange birds singing

on foreign territories

as were they

at home

where being at home

as a stranger

is an accomplishment

in itself

misunderstandings

being misunderstood

over a too long period of time

can also have

devastating impacts

on the body

mostly when

being misunderstood

over a too long period of time

leads to an undermining misunderstanding

of oneself

golden sunshine is illuminating the world

there is not a cloud to be seen on the sky

enfolding

the summer seems swallowed

by rain

dark clouds

shadowing the sun

though

the moon appeared

in incandescent whiteness

above treetops

while light withdrew from the world

and a peaceful silence

enfolded

an ever haunted body

circular

circular time

as in the time of cycles

with a very different kind

of achievement

an open mind

a compassionate heart

a forgiving embrace

of what was

a grateful embrace

of what is

and a faithful embrace

of what is

to come

oceanic

drifting in and out of consciousness

reaching the shores of the mind

in silent waves

washing the sand

before withdrawing back again

into the ocean of stillness

grey clouds covering the sky

a soft wind whistling

a dawning capacity to distinguish between

the superficial

and that which never change

night hours

it all seemed so obvious

during the night hours

and then

when light dawned

and sleep finally arrived

everything was blurred

into the usual mess of emotions

with no beginning

and not ends

yet

somewhere above

or underneath

runs a golden threat

of endless beauty

and eternal love

spinning light into the broken heart
