a certain frailty
full of wondering
how
to assimilate
all that love

Just another WordPress site
a certain frailty
full of wondering
how
to assimilate
all that love
touching a deeper state
of happiness
nothing to do with
ecstasy
rather a silent exaltation
of gratitude
too much freedom
can erode
the faculty
of discernment
too much trust
can lead astray
a certain amount of wisdom
rarely harm
learning to live with
our nature
with all its flaws
and instincts
all its cunning skills
of survival
in order to learn
to love
our nature
with all its flaws
and instincts
all its cunning skills
of survival
and live
holding on
to truth
can never be
destructive
wanting to
convince
others
about
what is true
can be
devastating
as the undercurrents
of a being
have their own tides
and times
of transformation
running off
into the future
without being able to rest
in the quietude
of the present moment
is also
a state of mind
not necessarily to be
cultivated
just observed
as a passaging condition
steady falling rain
and a sore body
as darkness is closing in
on nature
while light increases
in the heart
gently closing
the last door
to dependence
nothing dramatic
nothing brutal
just a firm
soft
closing
of a door
which was never meant
to be opened
beginning to understand
that
no one
is supposed to know
all the answers
in order to begin
a work
is not only a tender relief
but also a true
encouragement
relating
the invisible world
to the visible
might be
our sole true task
while distinguishing the invisible
from
imagination
is just as demanding as
discerning earthly matters
though in order to relate
both is
inevitable
