not knowing how
to protect
and take care of
oneself
is a common affliction
that most of us consider ourselves
irresponsible of
while it can only be
healed
when we begin to take
the responsibility
upon us
in the measure we are given
to carry
which is never more
nor less
than what we can bear
only the precise amount of our
talent
there is dignity
and there is appearance
not to be confounded
and there is no work
which cannot be
done
with dignity
though there is plenty of work
which appears
dignifying
with nothing but appearance
in reward
transforming a life
in shame
into a life of
dignity
can be a longer process
than reason is ready
to accept
it is at the dead end
of possibilities
that the impossible
find its way
cold weather
cautious care
pertinent purpose
fulfilling and fair
when
what was received
as a punishment
is being embraced
as a grace
what seemed unbearable
becomes
enlightening
no one is abusive
by decision
though it does not make us
less abusive
when that is how we
behave
wind
whirling dead leaves
to the earth
while stagnated thoughts
of the mind
are softly set into motion
and life begins
to flow
being governed by
a conviction of
unworthiness
which is ruining
every attempt
of fulfilment
is devastating
when our weakness
is no longer
prone to
dissimulation
