the advantage of staying silent is
that one begin to hear
the stories which are ruling our minds
the challenge of staying silent is
that it becomes more difficult
not to acknowledge them
not to find their proper place for them to be
where they are no longer ruling
but fuelling
our minds
purified through the fire
in our hearts
summer is unfolding
towards harvest
it is no longer time
for sowing
light is turning
towards darkness
and the mind is tuning
towards next years seeds
but for the time being
summer is to be appreciated
in all its generous abundance
profound healing
of profound wounds
leaving the superficial
to the superficial
and the past
to the past
all sorts of golden light
turning into grey
on a new moon
midsummer morning
all sorts of memories surfacing
to be classified and dissolved
for the mind to regain its freedom
to embrace the present
and perceive future
in joy
no golden light
just grey clouds
covering the sky
in peaceful protection of
whatever is
to be protected
reminding
that even the most glorious of all lights
sometimes needs
protection
the wind is whispering in the summer leaves
playing its own melody
in the treetops
while more golden morning light
is falling in through the windows
letting go
of old structures
no one was ever meant to carry
another’s dreams
nor fulfil
another’s destiny
the caves of every being
have a hidden treasure
if one have the courage
to go and search for it
the deep contrast
between the green forest
and the dense dark clouds
illuminated by golden morning sun
reflecting the deep contrast
of a mind
being a minefield of wounds
and yet
illuminated by that gracious light
which shines from within every person
when given the opportunity
transforms into mysterious beauty
just a thin line of red gold
in the horizon
between the surface of the world
and the blanket of grey clouds
announcing a day
of profound revelations
in subtle layers
of memory
a heavy body
using the heaviness to lean gently into
a different balance
a different kind
of wisdom
where softness is delivering
the mystery
of love
there are so many ways
to oppress
and most of them live
in the shadows of ignorance
nurtured by fear
birds are celebrating the midsummer’s approach
light is everywhere
to chase shadows
by the irresistible means
that is joy
